A summary of my nomadic photography experiences - Weddings, Portraits, Events, Travel, and Merry-making
Beautiful pictures Jon, but boy do I want that car.
Thank you Jon! You made our day very special. Our photos came out more beautiful then we could have imagined. Each time we look at our album we see more and more how talented you are. Thank you for an amazing experience and beautiful memories that will last forever!

The above pictures are from, yet again, another really fun wedding at Spanish Oaks Ranch (www.spanishoaksranch.net). I had the pleasure of shooting with Katie DiSimone at this wedding which was full of super fun people from the San Luis Obispo area that weren’t afraid to toss down some drinks and shred the dance floor to a live performance by Stilltime. Weeks after the dust settled with this wedding, Katie ended up submitting the photos to the Tribune for an upcoming wedding story they were going to print, and wouldn’t you know it, the story of Kaealoha and Brian was printed with pictures taken by Katie. Sweet!

Katie Jimenez and I met on the most unusual of terms; a story that I will reserve for only her, Anthony, and myself. Admittedly, I think it must have been all for the best. Once I met Katie and her soon-to-be husband, we could tell all the kinks were going to work out just fine. Of course, there was the LaCaro connection, but I believe it was much more than that. I was very honored to shoot photos of Katie and Anthony mostly because of Katie’s love for photography and the significance that she held for her wedding day. It seemed to be a perfect formula for the reason why I enjoy wedding photography, as well. The unique images that we all created during their wedding day are sure to fit in to the “timeless” category that I strive to provide for clients with. I hope you all enjoy the few teasers that have been posted within this blog. And look out, because I think that Katie will soon be out shooting photos of others who are planning their “big day.” Afterall, you should see the size of Katie’s wedding planner binder; it was ginormous.
Cheers to both Katie and Anthony for such a beautiful event….. – jon

People always say everything happens for a reason. A saying that I found extremely hard to understand for our reason of meeting, but looking back @ it all, 10 months after the fact, I COMPLETELY agree! I couldn’t imagine our images turning out any better. Thank you for your time and patience with us, and for incorporating all of my photographic ideas. You have truly captured who we, Anthony and I, and our family and friends. Something that may not come as easy to others. We love you and look forward to continuing our friendship with you throughout the years. Give us about 2 years, we might be needing some belly shots then!
Lata monkey!
Jon,
You are such a very talented, artistic, caring and personable person.
I cannot thank you enough for the way you approached taking pictures at Katie and Antony’s wedding.
They/we now have a very valuable treasure of memories for the present and into the future.
Take care,
Russell
Jon,
These few are amazing. Can’t wait to see the rest. It was so nice to meet you and be your “lens assistant” for a bit. I will definitely recommend your work to others. Beautiful job!
Natalie – and PS – I’ve never seen a wedding binder quite that big. Mine was a mini compared to that!
