Another successful central coast wedding with Keith Dunlop (www.kdiphoto.com).  Greg and Holly tied the knot in Morro Bay last weekend, but not until Greg and his buddies went through some rounds at the local shooting range.  As second shooter (no pun intended), Keith anointed me with the job of meeting the boys at the shooting range and getting some photos of them before the wedding.  I had to convince Keith that if he had any doubts, he should know that I’m the right guy for the job; having been to the shooting range several times and being a gun owner, as well.  I think Keith may have been even a little shocked when I asked him if I could bring the Glock along with my camera gear.

Keith Dunlop - I always learn something new about Jon each time we shoot together, and his collection of small firearms is just the latest. (The copies of Field and Stream magazine laying around his house should have been a clue). Needless to say, I always pay Jon on time now and I think very carefully before offering critiques of his work!

Seriously, Jon never ceases to impress me with his ability to bond with our clients and seamlessly put them at ease in front of the camera. Shooting with Gregg and his buddies at the range and getting great pictures as well is just another reason why I’m indebted to Jon’s talents.

Jon - *blushing* To give a hug back: I am indebted to Keith (http://www.kdiphoto.com) for his wisdom of photography that far exceeds my young brain, his technical wizardry, sharp humor, and most of all, I indebted to Keith for letting me into his photographic world in an industry where everyone seems to hold their cards tight to their chest. Thanks for the great comments, as always Keith! I’m stoked that we’ve become friends. -jon
